Prenatal yoga Transformation Stories
“When I was pregnant I felt big and clumsy and exhausted most of the time. Prenatal yoga helped energize me while at the same time made me feel a little more centered. It was also a special treat, time just for me to re-connect with myself and the little life inside. When the big day came I found labor totally manageable using the breathing/focused relaxation skills learned in yoga. I looked forward to your prenatal yoga all week.” —Ginny O.
“Throughout the week I was constantly aching. I looked forward to Saturday mornings for the prenatal yoga. I definitely would recommend prenatal yoga for alleviating aches, back pain, and the overall discomfort of pregnancy! You leave relaxed and refreshed every session!” —Grace S.
“I love Erica’s classes! Erica can teach to a room of all levels and offer up lots of variations depending on where each student is in terms of skill and where they are in their pregnancy. As a regularly practicing yogi, I was a unsure about attending my first prenatal yoga class. Would I really get anything out of it? Boy did I ever! Not only did she teach a great sequence, Erica offered thoughtful commentary that can be applied to moments on and off the mat.” —Rebekah C.
“I really enjoyed taking Erica’s yoga for birth workshop and recommend it to all soon-to-be mamas, especially those planning on a natural birth. I came away with so many tools and techniques to guide me through the different phases of child birth. From breathing, visualization, relaxing positions as well as positions to help get things moving—she covered all the bases to help me prepare. Not to mention getting to enjoy some quality time with other soon to be moms! I can’t say enough good things about Erica, she is truly gifted at what she does!” — Scotti C.
“Erica’s Yoga for Birth Workshop was fabulous! Erica is good for the soul. She has such a wonderful way of being with her students. Erica created a very supportive environment that was just what I needed as I prepared for my son’s birth. I appreciated all the different topics that were discussed. We went over yoga poses, mindfulness, breathing, mantras, and relaxation.
One of the most powerful exercises we did was related to being with discomfort and addressing fear with positive affirmations. I was so happy to have all these tools while giving birth to my son. The check list was especially nice since childbirth can be a whirlwind. The guided imagery/relaxation at the end of the workshop was wonderful! I also loved participating in Erica’s prenatal yoga class. I looked forward to it every week. If you have the chance to take one of Erica’s classes or workshops do it!! You will be glad you did!” — Blair S.
