I was inspired by Bob Weisenberg’s interview with author Lucy Edge over on Elephant Journal. I tweeted about it and–no surprises here–I found out that I wasn’t the only one.
So here’s the deal. We’ve formed a little Twitter yoga book club! And I’d love for you to participate! If you want to read along, just make sure you add #YSDO to your tweets. We’ll check in with each other on the weekends for discussion. (And of course, if you’re not on Twitter, you can still read with us, just comment your thoughts below.) Who’s in?
I LOVE the idea, but am super swamped 🙁 I hope this is something you keep doing because I'd love to join in next year.
I just ordered my book, but probably won't get it until later this week – so not sure how much I will be able to contribute this weekend. I love being part of a book club – so this one should be even more fun with all my twitter yogini friends!
@Victoria Maybe we should do 27 Things to Know about Yoga next.. 🙂
@Maria No worries. This book club is low stress, no obligation. We'll be ready to discuss it when you've got time.
I'm SO excited!
I'll have to get used to using the #yogaschooldropout but I'm very excited too! Got my copy already to read 🙂
This sounds like fun! However, I'm attending the Yoga Journal Conference this weekend. Can't wait to read the book though.
YAY! I can't wait! I hope my book arrives today.
This is a great idea. I really want to read this! But I am also a little swamped at the moment! I am reading "Autobiography of a Yogi". I've got Geeta Iyengar's "Yoga: A Gem for Women" on the shelf waiting for me … Oh and I really want to read the bio of Krishnamacharya.
Read it already. Let me know when you discuss.
count me in
Thank you all for reading my book! I'd love to join the debate!
Any questions?!!
Om shanti and all that. Lucy x
I'm definitely interested in this book club – cannot commit until the new year. Phenomenal idea!
@Lucy – thank you so much for a gorgeous read… i read your book when it first came out when i was in the early stages of my yoga practice. totally hooked, finished it within a week. big ups to you for seeing the wood from the trees; so much more to life than the soul-snatching corporate world x
Great idea. How do we find the discussion on twitter?
I picked up the book in Hawaii and finished it a few months ago. Very witty and entertaining! I'd be up for future yoga book club books and discussions!
